Combining Google maps and Wikipedia information on one page makes it easy to look for and find information on points of interest. If youve used either of those applications youll find this one easy to use.

Good concept but the crap UI burns the eyes and brings shame to the Macintosh. I am disappointed in Apples low standards for inclusion into the App Store, Jef Raskin is rolling in his grave.

its a very nice application and easy tu use. its very usefull to have Wikipedia and google map at the same time. but it would be nice to have a full screen mode for the map because its like the half size of the wikipedia page... On the whole, its a amazing application! good work!!

-Horrible UI -Street view has no Full Screen -Ads are embedded in toolbar of app -Useless could have wikipedia full version (app uses mobile version) and google maps in Spaces

This is a very good app because it works exactly the same as Google Earth and Google Maps (probably uses the same servers with the same imagery, too) so not only is it easy to use but its familiar. And it gives you verified Wikipedia information as you search so you can guarantee that you are getting good information on the places you are looking at. The only thing that stops me from giving this app 5 stars is that one should have the option of making the map navigator full screen, and shrinking it down to regular size when they want to view Wikipedia information. If this feature is added in an update soon, this app is definitely worth AT LEAST 5 stars

As is, its a very good app. It needs some polishing in terms of UI as some other people have less eloquently suggested, to conform with Apples UI guidelines. I did manage to find a couple interesting things around places I was interested in, and will keep this app for a while. That being said, there are some suggestions Id love to see addressed: 1. Display the location, it has a map, it asked me for my location, where am I in this map? 2. Make the map and info resizeable 3. Add a specialized button for street view on the results 4. Full screen view and floating info in full screen, similar to how you see photos and info in full screen on iPhoto 5. Hide the ads. Put them in the help or File menu. Thats where most mac users specifically look for stuff like that. I give it 3 stars because of all the work that needs to be done, but I did love this app. Great work! keep it up!

Very useful app ! Why this app is only in English when the same app in Itune for IOS is available in French ?

Just downloaded 1.3 and the first search I made had the eiffel tower error...

I installed this free app and was amazed by how much information I could glean about cities, places, rivers or lakes. The GPS locators work very well and always provide correct information. I easily give this free version 5 stars, and will likely load the full versions.

I found that it was a good idea fo an app, but it was extreamly slow and you could not serch for places very easily.

I downloaded the app then tried to check it out but nothing happened. Either its really very slow or something else is going on because I cant get past the main page with the world on it. Oh well....

Look like it came from Windows…. I dislike this style.

Ive been enjoying this app for a few days now and I am looking forward to using it more in the future,
