World Explorer - Travel guide App Reviews

I had to enter the desired address several times and the app. wouldnt take me anywhere! The available locations are very limited, therefore Im not thinking of buying the premium version of this app.

this is the coolest app ever! Today alone, Ive been to taj mahal, the eiffel tower, and even inside the white house!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not much on here for Belize. Where is San Pedro Belize, Caye Caulker, and those islands

I am very impressed with the relevence of the information available on most locations. Very useful for relocation research.

I havent used it very much yet, but it seems useful.

Why when i delete app it still shows up in loation services??? Security & Privacy > Privacy when i deleted app???

this cud get extremely useful, and just plain fun for when im bored and dont feel like going to google maps, i love this thing

Just downloaded and used it. Incredible app! Very accurate as well! I travel a lot and This deffinatley comes in handy!

its cool. i would not PAY For it. i thought it was something like a spy cam i have spy cam on my apple iPad 3 & i hope they have spy cameras ( FREE ) on here as well i was thinking of moving pictures, to be nosy haaa but for FREE ill give it 4 stars i got to see my street But it seems something like map quest i just wish it had moving pictures over all its free & pretty good just downloaded it last night !!

Downloaded and used the app yesterday, seemed to be working okay - but today when I ran the program it will not search for any items I put into the search field. The buttons for switching from KM to MIles and what ever else is in the tool bar will show up for a brief second when I am typing in the search field, then dissappear. It is stuck on my home location, and will not let me search anywhere else, so it is of no use. For a moment using it when I first downloaded, I was ready to buy the full version. If they can get my version working flawlessly then I still would consider a full version. Using a iMac 27 inch 2.7GHz Core i5 / 4GB RAM / OS 10.7.4

Its just Google Maps on the left, Wikipedia on the right. Cant I do that with my web browser? So the only pictures we get are taken on the outside from a car driving by and the only information we get is from Wikipedia: the most trusted and reliable source of only accurate information on the net right? This is the most half assed non-attempt at a non-app. If this were truly a world explorer, it would highlight places, not require us to think of something to search for. It would have high quality pictures of the inside, audio tours, maybe panoramic interactive shots of the inside (think Tour Wrist on iOS), accurate official information from more than one source, maybe a travel guide, etc. Theres a long list of things an app with this purpose should have that this is sorely lacking.

very usefull and interesting app to travel

I wanted to see how much Prestwick Scotland had changed since my childhood in the early 60s. Indeed in many ways it had changed but in many ways it was still the same. I was able to see where we lived and it was an old house then, so it really is old now. The ancient church and the cemetary was still there as I expected it to be along with our boyhood friends house. But where the golf course once was, there is now homes and since the Air base was closed it has now become an International Airport. Prestwick was a beautiful town then and it still is now. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the pics of landmarks that I remember from my pre-teen years.

This is one of the first apps that I put on my computer. It always amazes and never disappoints me. I love that you can pick locations all over the globe and then travel the streets. There is also all the imformation about the places you are looking at. This is way better than an atlas. If you are a geography nerd or just want to take a look at the world you are going to love this app.
